Website for Ivan projected paths???

I like www.weather.com It's a pretty good site. It will give you it's locations and how strong the winds are, also how fast it's moving. Doesn't look so good for those sailing Sat for the Western Cruise. Sorry guys!

All of these are great. I like weatherunderground.com because it gives all the computer models. The hurricane alley is great too.

I don't like any of them! Hurricane Alley shows some projections bringing the hurricane right through Collier and Lee County and we already had Charley. I tell you, my heart is pounding because we just went through Charley then Franics (I had relatives living here for 4 days who lived in Jupiter) and now this. We still don't have a lot of gas here, no plywood and there isn't a generator to be had here as they've re-routed our new supplies coming in to the east coast. Maybe it's time to give up...........if I could just make my home on the Magic or Wonder a permanent thing, then I could always get away from the storms!

Just saw an update on CNN (7:45 p.m. on Tuesday) -- Ivan just hit Grenada directly and is expected to pass south of Florida and into the Gulf.

The forecasters are only aiming for 60-70% reliability with the charts, so don't put too much credence in them. Stated another way, there is a 30-40% chance that the center of Ivan will be outside the boundaries of the path. Basically, they have no idea where it is going beyond three days or so. Not that this stops me from checking three times a day.
