Holy Cow..I swear the host of the webcast could be Dee Vee Cee without makeup..mannerisms the same but toned down. Short! less than 40 minutes, no glitches, and no door prize this time either :(. Also, they used some of the exact same member memories things they used in the Winter webacst. Odd.
Overall, nice but no big surprises and as reported earlier, no real 'deals'.

She did one "**smile!**" that had me thinking the same thing. Hmm.

Yes, I just posted the exact same thing on another thread. That was DV, it had to be. I've seen her many times up close and I found myself putting my hand over her hair and deciding if I wasn't crazy. At one point I was getting ready to draw a picture of her red hair, cut it out and put it over the dark hair -- yea, I was bored. I agree, no contest, same stories I heard last year when I did this.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this! I kept thinking the whole time it had to be her..and glad she has this gig and that since it looks Dee is gone she still has a DVC job. And I did my already planned 50 point add on..my guide was working..I hope they sold alot :)

The hostess of the show was one of the comedians from the now closed down Comedy Warehouse at Pleasure Island. When we were last at the World in February we saw DeeVee at Holllywood Studios dressed up as one of the street performers. We've also seen here performing there during Star Wars Weekends. But that was not DeeVee on the webcast.

But did you see DeeVee and the comedian at the *same time*? That's the question.

I actually wondered if it was the same person in the previous webcast that involved her (the "normal" person) as well. If she's not the same, then they are just confusing us. :upsidedow

I totally thought it was DeeVee too, without the overdone make-up, big wig and annoying nature. When they played the name credits at the beginning, I did an internet search on Mary Thompson Hunt and did see on her resume that she has done a lot of things for Disney, including yes, the Comedy Warehouse and various Epcot voiceovers and some gameshow host there too. No mention of DeeVee, but it wouldn't surprise me at all. The lady definitely has similar mannerisms, facial features and sound. She may not be, but I'm just sayin', the resemblance is pretty uncanny.

DeeVee and the comedian-her name is Mary- are two completely different people. Personally, I don't really think they look alike. When I ran into DeeVee at Star Wars Weekend two years ago (she was dressed in some space person from the future costume) she saw our DVC hats and made a comment to us about them- a little out of character but we had a nice laugh about it.
