web certificates

I have 1 more question about the certificates. Does anyone know if Disney charges shipping to purchase a gift card. I'm trying to figure out how to use the certificate to purchase Disney Dollars. How do you use the web certs on your Dis. vacation? Thanks again

I ordered one about a month ago from the disney website and I was not charged shipping. Hope it helps!

Since I was getting $75 in webbies the first time, I just bought the $6.95 plastic card and took it to the store to get DD. Others have just printed out their account info and gotten the CM to manually enter it. (I didn't want to worry about any hassle, so I just paid for the card.) Some people have had luck with the DS gift cards to buy DD, but you might want to check with your local DS before ordering/using them.

Some other people have just called the hotel they're staying at and given them the webbie account number to add as a deposit to their room.

Me, I've just been buying DD with mine. But if I have any money on the plastic card at the time we take our trip, I'll just use it whenever I can instead of my CC. I've been holding off on cashing in for more webbies until it's closer to trip time. I think I've got enough DD (and will have more DDRD from my Disney Visa) to cover most of what I can spend my DD on anyway.
