although i am not new to rewards, i have never gotten a web certificate before! do i just redeem at mypoints and thats it? i don't have to register at webcertificate.com or anything, do i? do you guys all not get the plastic card and just take the paper certificate to the disney store? my disney store is very tough. i don't know if they would let me do that. when i had a beenz "credit card" a cm questioned me like i was a thief for about 15 minutes, then asked her manager and he said" just run it thru, it's a credit card! also, how do you add more points to the same web certificate? sorry for all these questions that have been posted before, i tried doing a search for the answers on this board, but nothing was coming up!!
thanks in advance for your help!

When you receive your webcertificate in your email, you will need to go to webcertificates.com to redeem it. If it is your first webbie, you will need to open an account there in order to redeem. Opening an account will cost you nothing.

It is not necessary to have a plastic webbie card unless you want to shop in B&M stores with it. Online, you will only be asked to enter your account number and the expiration date. The plastic card will cost somewhere in the range of $6 to $7 dollars. I got mine way back when Freeride offered them as a redemption option.

The WC card is just like a regular MasterCard except that your spending limit is whatever you have in your account at the time. I have used it at my own Disney Store with no problems at all. I have never just printed out the confirmation email from Webcertificates to purchase Disney Dollars.

More points ($$$$) can be added to your webbie account in two ways. You can either add $$ yourself using a credit card or future webbies that you get from other programs can be added to one account. Even webbies that your DH earns can be added to the same account that you hold.

No problem. We're all newbies at one time or another. That's what these boards are for!

wow, thank you! one more question though. when i go to open a new account, will they ask do i want to leave the money in there and keep saving? do i have to spend before a certain period of time? i suppose it will be all self explanatory when i go to do it. i am just a little nervous since this is my first time for a web certficate. i don't want to mess it up! thanks again!

The full amount of the webbie must be deposited in the account, whether it is your first or fifteenth webbie. After that, you spend it just like you would from a debit card.
