I am going to be there on 12th JUN-19th JUN.1st 3 days in Universal.Just checked the weather foreecast. It is expected to rain on 6 days out of 7!
Is it going to ruin my holiday?I m with DH and 2 kids (4 & 6).

I guess I have to pack raincoats 1st than anything else!:sad2:

Any suggestions please?

Take it from a native Floridian, those forecasts are useless. Pay attention 24-48 hours out. Anything beyond that is as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike.

FYI, our usual weather pattern here in the summer is daily afternoon thunderstorms, almost always less than an hour or two. These storms are often highly localized so that if it's raining a half-mile away, it may be clear where you are and vice-versa. If you do get a brief shower, just be prepared to stick it out and enjoy fewer crowds.

It rained two of the days I was in Florida in June last year and it was no big deal. It lasted a hour or so and you could still enjoy activities.

In September during a rain shower I cruised around the world with no problems. :thumbsup2

the only time i fret over weather is if a hurricane has hit shore and heading towards orlando.

only one time that has happened to me.
wait, only two times i endured that .........

katrina and her friend made it wet and lousy weather for me on those trips but other than that, rain was not a deterent in enjoying the trip.

Don't worry about it, it's Florida, "If you don't like the weather now wait 10 minutes".:lmao:

The best thing happened last Friday night to my DS and I. My DW did not want to go back to IOA that night so my son and I went. It looked like storms were approaching so I ended up putting on sandals and suits just incase. We ended up riding Hulk, Doom, Spiderman and headed to Ripsaw. Right when we got close they shut down due to lightning. Now this was around 8:15 pm. We said lets go back to FJ since its and indoor ride. We got there while it was starting to rain and lightning a lot. We rode once and came into the gift shop only to find it pouring and lightning so bad, the water was coming in the shop. We decided to go on FJ again since there was no where to go. We got off again and it started to let up a little, now moderate rain. Now heres the best part.

No one was leaving except us, it was really cool to walk in the rain and lightning down from the castle through Hogsmeade. It might sound strange, but with it dark, rain, and lightning it was way to cool, very different.:thumbsup2
