we're leaving on the 20th and the weather for that week is looking a little chilly, one day it says 59 for the hi and 38for the low!!! Better start packing the gloves and scarves. I saw this report on Accuweather.com , but I'm sure it will change again, just hopefully not colder. Anyone see a warmer forecast for the week?

We are leaving on the 18th and accuweather keeps changing the forecast literally every day. Heres to warmth and sun, hopefully.:beach:

we are also leaving on the 20th, and I agree accuweather is changing their forecasts almost hourly. Check on weather.com, they have it a bit different from what accuweather says. I am hoping for warm weather too!!!:cool1:

again today, completely different forecast!!! Accuweather seems to be a bit negative, I think I'll stick with what wheather.com says!!! Sunny and 70's for most of the week. I don't know why I obsess over the weather, since there is nothing I can do about it....but we plan and plan and plan every little detail of the vacation, and then you have to leave the weather up to chance!:confused3

On our first day there... the 25th. weather.com has a high of 71 and 60% chance of rain.. accuweather has high of 60 and sunny... how can they be so far off.. ?????

Historically which has been more accurate? anyone know?

I dont know whose more accurate, but I feel like I need to pack for two trips just to make sure i am prepared.:sad2:

I know... how can they be so completely different... I think I have to take twice as much with us now, a little bit of everything!!! I looked at MSN weather and they have predicted rain most of the week! WHAT??????????:rotfl:

I checked MSN weather just a little while ago and they say a high of 50 on the 25th . So far, we have a high of 50, 60 and 71 for the same day on 3 different websites... go figure. :confused3

All forecasts more than a few days out are computer generated and are about as accurate as throwing darts at a dartboard.

Check this website

a day or two before you leave for the most accurate information. It does look like a cool down is coming by the weekend.

I keep checking the local channel too, all of them!! I feel like I am packing for 2 different trips too!
Oh well a few more days and we will be there anyways!!

Don't you just love it? :rotfl: I'm hoping all of them are wrong and there's going to be a heat wave rolling at the end of next week. :) Hope everyone has a safe trip!

I'm joining the weather obsessing club.
We leave on the 27th and I can't help but check the weather daily.

Oh my god...we are leaving on the 20th also and I haven't a clue what to pack. I have to pack tomorrow as we are staying at the toronto airport for our 6am flight out saturday. It has been -18 here all week so I can't even wrap my head around 70...would I wear shorts or capris or my jeans and a t-shirt......Im soooo confused. I hate packing and don't want to overpack like I did on our may trip. I will pack 1/2 what we need and do a load of laundy part way through. 2 pairs pants...2 pairs short ...1 pair capris and bathing suit and jammies I'm thinking...you watch I will want to wear the capris every day!!!!!!!!!!!!!! uggggg

Shoot.. now I'm obsessing about the weather where I live . In Knoxville, they are predicting snow off and on next week and where I live it's really HARD to get out when there is ice... ARGGGGHHHHHHHH!

I know what you mean, we leave tomorrow and it says snow flurries for tomorrow AM, and I am so scared that the flight will be delayed or we will have bad roads to get to the airport! I'm also obsessig over the weather in Atlanta, where our layover is!!!! AHHHHHHHHH!:confused3

We leave tomorrow too, and the weather at least in Boston looks ok.
We had snow here this morning, not much just flurries and I checked the flight status, and they all left without a hitch, so flurries should be OK for you.
I hate to fly, so ativan here I come.
Looks like the weather in Orlando will be nice!!!:rotfl:

way too many things to worry about!!! I really not crazy about flying. It never used to bother me, but now that i'm a mom....I worry about EVERYTHING!!!!!!! Weather, illness, delays...you name it. I will be so happy when we are safe on the ground in the line for ME!!! Then our vacation will truly have begun!!!!!! Where are you staying? We're at BWV.:goodvibes

We are staying at Pop, needed two rooms, so we went for something affordable. We stayed there last year, and it was fine for us.
We can't wait to get out of the cold!!

Severe weather nerd here! Just some info. The forecast from accuweather is computer generated based on what the weather models spit out. Some of the models that they use for generating the forecast are actually run 4 times in a 24 hour period. Obviously, the closer the models are run to the actual forecast period, the more accurate they are as they are being generated by real time conditions.

What you can gleam from accuweathers 15 day forecast is the weather trend. It is trending colder. Florida actually is a bit concerned about freeze damage to the citrus crop because of the impending cold fronts expected to reach Fl. I subscribe to the pro site for accuweather. I've seen what the models are suggesting and where the cold air mass is now. You should definitely be prepared for very cold weather in Fl. There is a very good possiblity that the cold air mass that will come in to the country following the one that is pressing down today and tomorrow, will reach the southeast.

I'm a little bummed because, the way things look now, temps in March could be colder than is seasonal. I was sooooo hoping for 80 degree days :sad2:
