We are going the first weekend in May (end of next week). Do we need sweat shirts or light jackets for the evening? I have never been this time of year before.

We only bring clothes for the hot weather; living in Texas it's not too different. Last year, I got chilled (for me 76=:cold: )in the mornings but, the weather heated up quickly. I think if you are used to the cold and snow, you probably wouldn't need a sweater.

If you are from Chicago, I would not bother. The average low for May is 65. Not too bad, especially at the end of a Northern winter!

We go this time of the year every year.

We are from Massachusetts.

I wear a light sweatshirt on the plane with jeans, since I seem to get cold on planes.

I do not put the jeans on again until we leave - then I change at the airport.

You'll love the warm nights this time of the year.

It does get warm during the day. :sunny:

We leave Saturday and I'm packing 3 pairs of shorts, 1 pair of levis(emergency) and 1 light jacket. If the jacket is not enough, I'll just break down and buy a Disney sweatshirt.

We were going to do the same thing the last time we were there (spring 04) and we couldn't even find sweatshirts! WE had to buy towels to keep warm.
