My DS and DBIL went in late Jan this year, and, yes, they reported that it was cooler in the evenings than we have experienced during the Oct trips we have taken ... BUT ... they were so pleased by the lack of crowds that it far outweighed the chill. DBIL kept saying as he showed his pictures, "LOOK AT ALL THE PEOPLE!"! Of course he was being sarcastic, as the castle in the background looked abandoned! FL was also experiencing an unusual cold snap, too. They say they would go back in a heartbeat at that time of year, and as a matter of fact, we will be going as a family Dec 2006 (4-11). Beat the crowd ... just bring a sweatshirt. Us fellow Minnesnowtans can take it!
. When we were there last December we were on the bus to go to the Marketplace and it stopped at Typhoon Lagoon and there was one family standing there shivering to death at park closing and they had stayed all day in cloudy upper 50's lower 60's weather. Of course their kids didn't seem to mind it at all.
anyone have any good things to say?
