Weather/What to pack for late May?

I assume it will be mostly shorts and t-shirts, but will we need any heavier clothing (jeans, sweatshirts)? Are nice shorts and shirts ok for most restaurants?

i have this same question...we're going in late may. will we need any capri pants, or light sweaters for the evenings, dinners, late night boat rides?

I've gone in early to mid May the past 5 years and it was hot, definitely shorts and t-shirt weather. Temps in the high 80's to low 90's. I'd take a sweatshirt and a pair of jeans just in case.

The only restaurants that have dress codes are ones like California Grill, Yachtsman's Steakhouse. Their rules are no tank tops and no beachwear. Nice shorts and shirts are OK. The only one with a real tight dress code is Victoria and Alberts. Elsewhere, park wear is fine.

It's hot this time of year. I usually take a light jacket and capri's for the plane ride home...otherwise its shorts and tanks.

No sweatshirts or jean. We always go the beginning of May to avoid the heat. You may want a sweater for the cold restraurants, but that's about it. Lightweight capris are OK for the evening. Temps could be approaching high 80s to 90s by the end of May....too hot for me.

For my May trip, it's usually shorts and tanks for both of us. Never any long pants for us. AND lots of sunscreen!!

DH will be happy...less luggage then most of our Fall/Winter trips!

Don't forget the rain ponchos. We were there end of May/beginning of June the last 2 years and we made use of our ponchos quite a bit. Other than that it was hot hot hot. But we'll be there are again this year LOL.

I've been to WDW the last week in May before. It was bathing suits and rain ponchos! I was either wet in a waterslide because of the heat or wet in a flash shower. I'd suggest very warm to hot weather summer gear.

It's summery without being summer. I loved it so much I'm going back the same week this year. Rain

or shine you can't lose.

I was there last year the last week of May. It was very HOT! 95 degrees everyday with heat index over 100. Make sure you have a squeeze breeze!
