Weather watch! Next weekend's forecast!!

Hi!! We leave for DLR on Thursday and the forecast looks great!! Anyone else watching that? I have been concerned all week with all the rain in So Cal....but things look to be clearing up! We cannot wait to escape the frozen tundra that is Illinois!!! Anyone else going to be there on Super Bowl Sunday? I'm guessing the ESPN Zone in DTD will be a mob scene! Any other recommendations on where to check on the game during our day? I guess House of Blues and other places that have TVs in DTD will have the game on during the day. Now I have to start packing!

I *think* we are going to be there Sat-Mon. Our dog just passed away (we'd loved her for 12.5 years) and I am so devastated that I'm not sure if I want to go. Maybe it will be good to be distracted.

We won't be checking on the game - since the Pack is out, we aren't really interested.

Denise - SO sorry about your dog!! Seems like going to DL would lift your spirits! We were upset that the Pack didn't make the Super Bowl too - even though we are Bears fans! I really couldn't care less about the game either but my husband is a football fan - he doesn't care who is playing!

We will also be arriving on Saturday and staying until Wednesday night at the Grand Cal. Im not so much worried about Superbowl as I am about the Google people being there that 4th and 5th. They have rooms all over the 3 resort hotels reserved. Still so excited to be with Mickey for my 39th Bday!!!!!

HELP!?!?!?! Google is there on the 4th and the 5th? We are heading down and doing a Sun-Sat next week (my birthday too!! ). Does anyone know how Google will impact our experience?

Other than the parks closing an hour early on the 5th, I don't think you will be affected. It may be slightly more crowded than you anticipated, but I wouldn't worry too much.

Ya'll got me worried for a minute. Thank goodness Tuesday was our 'pool day' so the early closure won't impact us. If we get their early enough on the 4th (so much for sleeping in on my annual celebration of my 29th B-day!) then hopefully we can avoid a big chunk of the crowds.

I have been watching the weather down there too, although since it is -44 here anything is warmer I think.

We arrive on the 3rd and leave the 8th, so we have been watching the forecast obsessively. Is the park closing early just for the Google people? I was wondering what that is about. Also, the park says it closes at 7, but there is a parade scheduled for 7 also. Anyone know what that is about?

I have been watching the weather too. It is windy and cold here in Vegas and I'm hoping for nice weather when we go. Just hope we have no rain!!

We've had 1 1/2 feet of snow since Sunday and suppose to get 2 more feet tonight. I think any change of weather would be nice. I will be happy to step of the plane at 12:30 on Saturday and see anything not white and cold! I just emailed Brad in vacation planning to get a update on the weather. I will let you guys know as soon as I hear something. I love vacation planning and Brad! Wish they had this in Disneyworld!
