Weather -Trip around Oct 1 vs Nov 1

Well, according to Accuweather, average temps in Orlando on November 1 are 81/53, as compared to 81/72 for October 1.

It's honestly impossible to say. The weather could be cool, or it could be 90 degrees. I went one December (not when you're looking at but still) where it went from a high of 85 degrees Thursday to a high of 55 degrees by Saturday. Shorts & tshirts to jeans & layers.

We've gone first week of November the past several years and it was plenty warm/hot to us.

Last Nov 2 - 11 our party of 11, 5 to 67 years of age, all hit the pool every day.

I would say plan on swimming in October. There might be a chance it's cold, but the pools are heated enough to be able to swim. We have been in Oct, Nov, and Dec. In December weather is more day by day, on the day after Christmas we could swim....but the next day it was freezing! There were still folks from the North in the pools though, us Southerners couldn't handle it though

Late October/early November in 2014 - hot days, cool night. Perfect for swimming.

Last year same dates (about) - crazy cold snap! Did not swim, pants and jackets on some days, some nights were downright uncomfortably cold while wearing pants and jackets.

Odds are with you that you can swim with either time frame.
However, weather is a fickle creature and you can never say for certain what will happen. Especially when you start to talk about Fall/Winter or Spring in the South (Summer is the only given, where it's hot)
There are higher odds of a cold snap in November than in October but there are higher odds of a Hurricane in October than in November.
Pools at Disney are heated so even if the air temps are not super warm you can likely get in, just have a cover up for getting out. We were there in early Oct for a week this past year and it was only warm enough to swim at the start of the trip. Last few days it was not.
