Weather strategy - MNSSHP

OK, so the party will be offered twice during my stay - 9/29 and 10/2. We plan to go 9/29, but I'm hesitent to buy tickets now for fear of bad weather. I'd rather wreak havoc on my ADRs and need to reschedule a dinner in order to enjoy a dry evening.

If I buy now, can I exchange my tickets for another night (I'm assuming the answer is no)?

If I buy the tickets for the 29th on the 28th when I check in - I'll have the weather forcast by then - will I still get the advance purchase price since it's not a same day purchase?

It's hard to predict the weather, we will be there in late October. I can deal with a little rain but not with hurricanes...lol

I had pre-purchased tix for 2005 MNSSHP for the end of the month, however DD and I had made a quick trip over to MK one afternoon, knowing it was a MNSSHP, but figuring we would stay until we had to leave..... she eventually talked me into buying tix for that nights party as well, and in conversation with the CM at Guest Relations, he said if I had the other tickets with me, I could EXCHANGE them for this date. I did not have them nor want to exchange

So, I'm going out a limb here to say that you can EXCHANGE providing the party you want tickets to still has tickets available. Early in the month, I doubt it will be a sell out - I think the early one we went to last year was the 1st or 2nd - whatever the first Friday was.
