WEATHER REPORT LEAVING in less than a week

OK I have begun doing the DISNEY HAPPY WE LEAVE SOON DANCE...and checked the weather report for fun! It says THUNDERSTORMS AND 60% chance of rain. Now I have been 100 times and it has never rained ALL DAY just usually an hour here and there or torential downpours! Can anyone help make a girl feel better....does this 60% mean it will rain alittle or does it mean it will rain all day

I AM STILL EXCITED RAIN OR SHINE....after all it is hurricane season!
Incase anyone wants to help me I leave Sun. the 24th for the week.

I think you'll be fine - just now the local weather at noon (Orlando TV) showed 10 day forecast with 23rd & 24th (until 27th) with only 20% chance of rain and daytime temps in the 80's, nights in the 70's - of course things change all the time, but it looks good so far!

We are leaving 9/24 (POR) and I have been obsessed with checking the weather everyday also...hoping for a good week but will be happy with at least a few

we just got home, a couple of the days it was 60% and 70% chance of rain, it did pour but we pulled out the poncho's and unbrella's and kept on going-- after a couple of hours it cleared up. not much you can do. have fun!

In all our trips to WDW, over 38 at many different times in the year, we never check the weather. what ever it is, it is. You have no controll over it but to just plan on rain. We have alway encountered the 3-4 o'clock rain storm or cloud, just about set your watch to it. Sunny all day until the 3 pm hour and the clouds roll in and dumps buckets of rain and then the sun comes back out, dries up the water and gets hotter. If you took a nap during that period, you wouldn't knew it rained. We always pack our ponchos, its just go, enjoy and take thatever comes in stride.

Who am I kidding I just checked it and will check it again in 2 hours. BUT everyone is right plan for rain, just keep going and enjoy whatever weather ya have.....its always better in Disney!

LOL, my mom will be there with you, checking in with her very soon to be hubby (getting married thursday) on Sunday! We will be there on Wednesday the 27th!!!

I too am checking the weather everyday, I am plenty prepared for the daily thunderstorm, I am more concerned with the tropics as we already lived through hurricane frances with disney and don't wish for a repeat.
