I have been checking weather.com everyday for their forecast for Orlando since will will be there on Tues. Well Wed, Thurs, and Friday say scattered showers, what exactly does that mean? I know in Florida it can rain everyday especially in the summer, but what does that mean for this time of year? We were there last year the same week and we didn't see even a drop of rain. I just want to be prepared, thanks!

It basically means that some people in the Orlando area may get rain, while others won't. If it does rain, it is not likely to last long. It is doubtful (but not impossible) you will need ponchos with this forecast.

Hasn't rained in awhile. I don't think it will, but I suppose anything's possible.

I hope you have a great trip!

What heat and humidity? THe weather's been beautiful for the past month!

I was at HHN on 10/27, sweat dripping off me it was so hot...maybe all the humidty wasnt there, but it was very warm...then I went to Food and Wine on 10/28 and about BAKED! We ducked in and out of shops just to escape it. Even the CM's were saying it was overly hot for late Oct.

Granted the last few days have been better, but it has been a really LONG warm summer...I am ready for the highs to stay in the low 80's and to turn OFF my AC

Hmmm, it's a LOT cooler than it was last year in October.

I guess its a matter of opinion then...I have been here for 12yrs now, and this is one of the hotter ones that I can remember..but hey..we all feel it different

Maybe it's different because you live in Poinciana and I live on the east side of Orlando? You know how FL weather is, it's different every 5 miles you drive. I know how it is too, I've lived in FL for 18 years. :/
