Keep in mind, the cold and wet can be a blessing in disguise. I never really understood the people who blessed the rain when they were touring DL, but now after our recent trip, I understand. If you take precautions - bring a hoodie/sweater for cool mornings+evenings, wear a tank top for warmer afternoons, and pack or purchase ponchos in case of excessive rain (we used ours to cover the stroller and keep it dry), touring in the wet and cold can be a great experience! We walked on to almost every ride on our first 3 days of our trip, and looking back on it, I am sure the weather must have been a factor. Our first Monday, the park was almost empty, but the following Monday it was absolutely packed with wall-to-wall people! The only difference? First monday drizzle and wet and cold, next monday sunny and warm and gorgeous!
Give me rain and cold any day!!
