So I check the weather every day with “Alexa” for Lake Buena Vista and she tells me 90+ with showers. How has it really been in the parks lately? We are getting ready to head down from Seattle in 18 days just curious.

I'd say this summer has been a bit different than usual.

I was there last week.
First couple days it was about 92 and no rain.
Then it rained the majority of the day for a couple of days and was only in the mid 80's but felt worse than the 90;s because it was so much more humid on those days.
Wore a poncho for most of Thursday at MK yet when we happened to hop over to Epcot from 3:30 to 5:30 it was fine.
WDW is so large that you can easily have it raining all day at one park and sunny all day in another park.
I'd say prepare for potential all day rains and extreme stickiness and hope that the pattern changes to more normal hot, sunny, afternoon thunderstorm by the time you go on your trip.

Currently there are two storms heading up the east coast with a 20% chance of hitting Florida as a hurricane. We arrive in 13 days. Currently preparing for rain, even if not a hurricane. If no rain, we will pleasantly surprised! August is considered part of the hurricane season.

We've travelled the past six years during this time. We've had rain last for a few minutes to downpours that lasted hours. Grab a poncho and enjoy!

Very hot and very humid, like worst in the past 22 years that I've lived here. We do get the afternoon thunderstorms and that cools us down thankfully. Today it hasn't rained though, so still hot and humid

Those two tropical waves are most likely not going to impact you. The first one is less than 10% of forming into more than a rain shower and the other is so far east in the Atlantic that I wouldn't worry

Exactly the first depression has no chance of becoming a hurricane. The second disturbance also has little potential to be more than a tropical depression. NHC has made no comments about either becoming a hurricane.

I can tell you all right now that EVERY computer model has the 2nd disturbance curving and going out to sea and NOT having any impact on the US.

Can it change? YES but as of right now the odds are better it goes out to sea.

We live nearby (2 miles from the MK castle) and yes, that's pretty much what we have had. Its also pretty much what we get throughout the summer here.
