Hi I am heading on Thurs and can see on the weather forecasts that i've checked that its going to minus next week and could give snow >

I am honestly so annoyed about this :sad1: I've been watching and planning as best as poss and new it may be cold and possibly rain? But not -4 and snow in March?
My kids don't drink hot drinks of any kind and aren't particularily found of the cold? So this could put a real dampner on our 6days there? Can anyone recommend the best site to check for the weather and if anyone is there now, can you tell me how cold it actually is and what you've brought with you ?

Ob we have hats/gloves/scarves - winter coats and blankets for kids? But are we going to need snow boots/thermals aswell?

Thanks in advance :flower3:

P.s - We're really looking forward to this as its a bday trip and will have a good time no doubt once there among the disney magic - just want to be prepared !

With the exception of a few (heavy) showers yesterday we have had great weather this week.

Today got out to be sunny and warm - people were sitting out on the balconies and terraces in my neighbourhood - Right now it's still 12° at 19.00.

Tue/Wed and Thurs got up to 15°

Tomorrow is forecasted dry and sunny with a high of 11° low of 4° which is the average temperatures for this time of year.

:)

Paris weather is very similar to here (were in ireland). So very changeable!!!
I did see a headline for a freezy spell next week (didnt actually read the article). So your forecast could very well be true. Id check a couple of days before you leave it could change. We were there in the snow a few years ago -9 it was Never again!!!! My girls dont drink hot drink either so it was a struggle!! Our last 2 trips we had temps in the mid 20c so we have been spoilt, were back in 2 wks and im kinda dreading the weather as we have never had rain either. Hope the weather picks up for you.

If its in the minus thn id def bring termils and warm boots of some kind.

Thanks Carrie - I did see that the weather looked ok for the next few days then turns baltic:( ! Im praying that it'll move away - we're used St Pat's being good or mostly good so I thought we'd be ok in France. Awh well what will be will be !

Daisey we are Irish too:thumbsup2 So you'd think we'd be used to it :rotfl2: But I hate the cold and rain ! And detest the snow unless its 30mins making a snowman then straight back in to the fire ! Brrrh ! Hope it changes !

I'll give you a daily report/forecast if you like up to Wednesday :thumbsup2

Even if it snowed, rare but not unheard of for March, it's not going to be much and it's not going to last long :goodvibes

We're off on Tuesday and I am also worrying about the weather, I've been checking every few hours or the last few days hoping & praying it'll suddenly change!
We're off out tomorrow to buy snow boots for some of my children and I'm even insisting my eldest brings a coat - he's a teenager, they don't get cold apparently, but he will be wearing one this week!
I've also convinced my hubby that we need another summer trip so am currently planning an August trip so we can have some warmth! Just waiting to see how we get on this time as first time with all 7 children!

Hi Carrie - just wondering what the weather is like with you guys at the mo. We're in freezing temps here:confused:

Am praying for it to be at least dry from Thurs - Tues - as wet and freezing I think i'll panick ! Is there a particular site that is usually right with their predictions?

Thanks in advance !

Was just coming to update ;) have been out in it this morning.

I've put the heating back on so it's cold for me even today, 2° right now with light drizzle.

We didn't get any snow here (I'm to the West) but friends the other side of DLP (to the East) reported a very light sprinkling which didn't last and they got a bit at DLP but nothing that you'd be bothered about.

We have 90% chance of getting snow in the early hours so they will too as it's forecasted for the whole department (Seine et Marne) Tomorrow will be cold, very cold especialy with the wind chill making it feel like -9°

ATM -Wednesday is due to be dry and sunny with the snow a distant memory as is Thursday but it will be cold. 3° to -4° during the night :)

Thanks :thumbsup2

Im dreading it lol - I know it'll be fun too but we have only gone in July before so im guessing slightly diff temps:laughing: Pls keep us updated if you can !:goodvibes

Getting slightly apprehensive about the weather, it has a week to run out of snow and cold to make way for dry and mild for my visit!

We are so glad that we cancelled the Birthday trip for this weekend and today. We will return when it is warmer and we will all be happier.

We went this time last year and are going again on Monday! It was really cold and quite wet but we were well prepared and it didn't spoil our fun. As long as you have warm clothes, hats, gloves, rain coat etc you will be fine, fingers crossed it warms up a bit though!

Last year in March we were so lucky! It was so warm a lot of the time we didn't even have coats on!

I'm going to stock up on warm layers, hats gloves and scarfs! Won't let the weather ruin the magic :)

me too. I hope the weather changes and we'll be fine. Glad I can a lot this time :rotfl:

Have been in March several times and only had snow once back in 2004, our first trip and it didn't spoil the trip for us at all. We were however, totally unprepared and spent an absolute fortune on gloves and hats, go prepared for all weathers and you'll be fine.

In January last year it hit "feels like minus 16" whilst we were there, it was extremely cold but we had a fab time, I'm actually a bit apprehensive about how we'll cope with the summer having always previously done cold trips ! :lmao:

It was snowing early this morning and then rain this evening the temp has been around 1 to 2 today.

Was rain/sleeting from late last night until around 4am.

When I got up finally at 6 it was dry

It's now just started snowing, real snow flakes and settling in parts. Wind is present as you can see the snow been blown along the ground as it's very powdery

Thermometre says 0° but the feel like is -7°
