Hey all,
We are so excited as we're heading to Florida and excaping the nasty coooold weather up north here! :woohoo: However, looking at the weather forecast for that week it looks like M-W are barely in the 70s and lows in the 40s!! Is that still warm or what?? We hit maybe 60 degrees today and it was a huge improvement from what its been up here lately BUT still cooooold to me :rolleyes1 . So, can anyone tell me if we should pack jeans and sweatshirts?? What is it like in the parks during cool weather? Is it swimming weather?? I'm not used to those temps yet seeing as how we barely got out of the freezing temps but I am so bummed!! I was hoping for warm weather! Anyone else heading down next week or live in FL and have a forecast?
Thanks!! Wishful thinking!

i checked weather.com earlier today and it lists 80's for highs and 50/60s for lows. with the sun in FL, it feels pretty warm. it might rain that week a few times i also noticed. we will be there as well so, i've been keeping an eye on the weather. of course, predicting the weather is not easy.

i live in SOUTH alabama so the weather is pretty much the same here as it is there.

i believe all pools are heated. so there shouldn't be a problem there.

i always get chilly with a stiff breeze and i don't know what it is about WDW, but it's windy at night. i usually take a light jacket to wear when the sun goes down.

have a great time and safe trip down south!!

i just checked weather.com and weather next week looks good to me
Starting out in low 70s then warming up
doesnt look like much rain though so hopefully Off Kilter will play all their scheduled sets!

Well that sounds more promising. I checked a few "local" news stations' weather for Orlando and one said that Mon & Tue were going to be only in the high 60s with lows in the 40s. That is crazy! I hope they are wrong. Even though I live in the frigid northeast, I am always cold... :confused3

just checked weather.com as well since ill also be there mid of next week till the next and weather looks about average use too that since i live in SoCal....but staying in the 70's is pretty awesome for day weather, comfortable, and fresh

We're leaving in the morning and driving down from Northwest AL. I'm throwing in a few extra pairs of jeans and long sleeve t's than i had intended on packing, but I think the daytime will be comfortable. The night might be a little chilly. My phone says that the temp in Orlando right this second is 77 degrees. You should be fine swimming. I, myself, don't get into our pool at home until mid July, but my husband and son start swimming as soon as the temperature stays in the high 70s for a couple of weeks. With the pools being heated, you'll be fine.

I don't care what the weather is like, just as long as I'm far away from my office for a week! :surfweb:
