Hi.. have you been in late Nov in the Bahamian cruise? What can i expect on the experience at the beach/sea? Is it too chilly?
Would you go back again?
Thanks

I have been to the Bahama's on DCL a few times:

1st cruise week before Thanksgiving: Castaway Cay It rained the whole day chilly, we were sad for our first visit.
2nd time 1st week of December: Castaway Cay was a perfect day warm, sunny, beautiful.

On our many other cruises in January or February we have had a mix of chillier temps to warmer.
We still enjoy ourselves, the Island is beautiful.
The water can be chilly, but I am a Floridian so I'm not a fan of cooler water, but my husband always goes into the water.

The Majority of our Caribbean/Bahama cruises have been in Winter months and we have always had a great time.

Have fun!

We took a Dec cruise and thought it was great, but it depends on where you're from. We're from ND, so it was beautiful, being it was blizzarding at home. The water was a little cool, but normal for us, but may be too cool for those from warmer climates. We would definitely go again.

Weather can vary so much day-to-day that time of year. We cruised in mid-November last year and when we boarded the ship at Port Canaveral it was in the 80s and sunny, and when we disembarked it was in the low 60s and overcast. Our day at Castaway was pretty cool in terms of air temp but not so cold we couldn't sit out in our swimsuits (70s), and the water was cool but not unbearably so.

We've taken 3 cruises on the Dream all during Thanksgiving week over the past handful of years. We had perfect weather in Nassau and CC each time. I will note we are also Floridians so really need it to be over 80 to even think about getting in the water :) Each time the weather on embarkation day in PC was cooler. Of course, weather can hit at any time but generally find we really do not get that true cold spell until Jan or so. Again, anything is possible but we've had good luck. Thanksgiving on the ship is so much fun. So glad we went last year. Wish I could be there right now! Enjoy!

Both of our cruises have been in November on the Dream, with ports in Nassau & Castaway Cay. Both times, the weather was beautiful, sunny and 80-85 degrees every day. Although, it DID rain for about 20 minutes one day during our second trip :) We went the first full week in November both times (so around the 5th to the 9th), so not quite Thanksgiving but I can't imagine it would change that much in a few weeks. We also found the water temperature to be wonderful...but we're from the northeast so anything over 50 degrees feels down right hot to us!!
