Hi,

We are trying to go to SW in October (after Columbus Day). Have any of you traveled during this time and enjoyed the water rides/attractions? Or, was it too cool to get wet? thanks!

October is basically still summer in Florida. Only difference is there might be less thunder showers unless there is a tropical system that is close enough to change the beautiful fall of Florida.

We always go in the jast 2 weeks of October. (I mean when we go, it's always October. Can't go every October, unfortunately!!)

We've had the odd chilly day, but mostly it's hot. I got completely soaked to the skin on Atlantis and dried out in about an hour. Just stayed in the sunshine and never felt cold - which is unusual for me. The kids are planing on sitting in the splash zone at Shamu Stadium this year too!

We also do the water parks and spend lots of time in and around the villa pool. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your responses! Looking forward to our trip!

We were there Oct. 8th, and it was hot. We got a little wet on Journey to Atlantis, and completely soaked at the Shamu show, but we didn't mind at all, as it cooled us off. Don't worry, I'm sure it won't be cold!
