Hi guys

Just wanted to check with any of you to see what you thought of the weather in Oct/Nov if you have just come back. Want to spend a week in the keys and want to make sure if is warm enough.

I have seen weather charts but would rather have personal opions from the experts :p

Cheers

We were there from the 24th Oct - 7th Nov last year. We had one day with showers in the morning only and one really cold evening. Apart from that it was perfect. We visited Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach as well as spending time at the pool. We just love this time of year to go :D

Thanks for your note, am a little worried as the plan is to spend 2 weeks in orlando 29 Oct then off to the keys for the 3rd week and i dont want it where it is to cold to sit in the sun and go to the water parks. Was you cold at all?

Also how busy was it?

I went Sep last time and it did not stop raining so i thought this may be a little better.

Cheers for any advice you may have

Hugs

Only one evening was it cold - needed a jumper for illumination's that's all. We wore shorts, T-shirts and sandal's the rest of the time. We were also at WDW in 2000 up to the 11th of November and had lovely weather all the way through.

We found that this time of year was a quiet time, even though there is the Food and Wine festival at EPCOT (which is brilliant) and MNSSHP at MK. I think you have to be aware for 'Jersey Week' - where a lot of people come down from New Jersey as the schools close for a teacher's convention. Ithink there is a thread about when this is on the main trip planning board.

Super Soap weekend maybe the 2nd week in Nov, but we never encountered that.

Anymore Questions??

Kaylee :D

Thanks this is wicked......

We will be orlando (hopefully) 29 Oct/12 Nov so do you think we will miss most of the busy stuff. Off to keys 12 Nov Home 19 Nov.

Also HALLOWEEN what stuff is going on when roughly dont want to miss anything.

You have made me feel better about the weather, was it warm enough to swim at the water parks.

Cheers kaylee for your tips

hugs again

Tracy :D

You will probably hit the 'Jersey Week' during your stay - but to be honest in 2000 - it really wasn't that busy!

Halloween - my favourite time of year. Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween Party - MNSSHP, is a must we have done it both times it is situated at the MK and is a seperately ticketed event, with a special halloween parade and fireworks and trick or Treat stations everywhere :D Also on the 31st October is a smaller event at the Boardwalk - I believe they have some characters and games etc for kids.

We have swam at the waterparks during this time and it was lovely and warm :D

Hiya

I have got the flights held until tomorrow so that is cool. Just one major rethink on the whole hotel thing.

Once i have booked will want to pick your brains to death if that is OK.
