i just want to say I did search. But the month May turns up the word may.

Late May - what is the weather like in Paris and vicinity? Rainy? Chilly?
What do you wear for touring?

It's still quite variable in May, temp range from 12c to 25c, I'd wear long shorts and a t-shirt and pack a mac in a backpack and a cap just in case

I just started my trip planning. The weather is the first thing I've started checking, because my husband does not like to travel in very hot weather.

Am I understanding the weather right in Paris?

I'm seeing average highs in May of 59 degrees Fahrenheit. July and August 68 degrees Fahrenheit. I'm seeing people complain about how hot the weather is in summer! What??? Am I missing something? When the temperatures hit 68 degrees here I'm looking for my jacket! Is this really the average high in the "heat" of the summer in Paris? Is it even warm enough to swim in the summer time in Paris?
