Weather in May

We've been late April, early May, and for us the weather was really varied. Usually in the 60's somewhere. I think once it got up to 72, or something. Fairly nice, but not super hot. (Although I wouldn't have minded it warmer some days:) )

Check out this website, though. It lets you find out what the historical weather has been for wherever you are going. (Go to the trip planner tab)

Hope this helps!

We were there this past May for a week.

It was HOT. But then, there was a heat wave that week. We drank up so much water and we like our water COLD so we spent a fortune.

Kids wore shorts/t-shirts all week. Now, it does cool down fast in the evenings, so the one night we were there late for fireworks we bought sweatshirts. Yes, we could have brought our own in the park, but it was the plan all along to buy new ones while we were there. :)

We arrived on a Monday and stay through 1/2 day Saturday. Monday was BUSY, it was odd almost. There was a huge line for Mr. Toad of all things! Monday was also one of the hottest days. Tues-Thurs were the best days crowd wise. Friday it got busy again and Saturday morning the park was pretty full when we left at noon.

It ranged from 80-85 degrees in May when we were there a few months ago. It was hot but tolerable.

We were there this past May as well. I would agree that it was hot, but we took the kids back to the GC to swim each afternoon (while we drank an adult beverage and watched ;) ) and it seemed ok. I prefer the beginning of May though....school's aren't out yet but there always seems to be a bigger crowd on Cinco de Mayo :goodvibes .

I must have been there that same week. It was very hot that week. I was there the week before Mother's Day.

I was in the Mr. Toad line. It was crazy!! The next longest line was for ice cream at Gibson Girl. We waited 45 minutes. I had been in May the previous year (2006). Same week and it was perfect. Hardly any waiting for the rides and the weather was beautiful. You do need a light sweatshirt in the evening as it cools down.

I was there Monthers day and a few days after. Weather was perfect. Not too hot, mild nice. No problems

must have heated up later in the month

Ive gone the past 4 years for my Birthday (May 10) and its nice like shorts weather in the day time and jackets for me at night (IM from Arizona so I get cold faster too) The crowds were pretty good. The Saturday crowds were way more than the week days. Mothers day weekend was crazy busy but the Friday and Thursday before very light. We walked on to almost everything with little wait.

We have gone the last couple weeks of May for the last four years, a coupel of times over the Memorial Day holiday. The weather has always been nice. Some days a little hotter than others, but never unbearable. It does get cool in the evenings and I always take a sweatshirt with me if I know I will be there in the evenings.

The crowds vary, but generally they are not bad through the week and more people show up on the weekends. We usually plan to do a beach day on one of the weekend days.

Lucky you to get the wb pc cruise. :)

Lately we get what we call May Gray so that the mornings are overcast, and then the sun burns through, being sunny during the day. I would say that you should have a sweater/sweatshirt/light jacket for mornings & evenings, and short sleeves would work for the main part of the day. :)
