weather in May question

Hi,
Just a quick question. Do you think we should bring sweatshirts if we are going the first week of May? Is it still hot at night or does it cool off enough for a sweatshirt?

We usually go the first week (we'll be there this year!) and I do usually pack one sweatshirt, just in case. But odds are it will stay in your suitcase. When we went in 2006 same week, I wore capris one night to Spectro and Wishes, but stayed in short sleeves the whole night.

We've gone for 2 years in a row now... starting on about the 8th of May. Then only time we needed a sweatshirt was one day when it was unusually windy when we were at Sea World.... and we got by without them until the sun got up enough and got hot.... We've always needed them for our trip home to Conn! Going from 90 to 60 is quite a shock! We try to have everyone wear a light jacket for the travel, then we have those packed for our trip just in case...

The first week in May is our FAVORITE time of year to go to Disney...this will be our 4th year in a row there during that time. Don't know what's going to happen when ds4 starts grade school! Have to figure out another time!

Anyway, I never bring any sweatshirts or anything for myself or husband, but have brought warmer clothes for the kids when they were babies. The mornings can be a little cool, but fine for the adults. You'll love that time of year, I think. Not crazy hot, and in the years past, not much rain.

We've been going the first part of May for the past 11 years. Definetely bring a sweatshirt. You just never know how the weather is going to be! Usually, it's hot, but we have had years when it was down right CHILLY!
