Eeeeek! I am so behind on planning our next trip. I need to get on the ball as we leave in 8 weeks. Since most stores are bringing out their spring/summer stuff I need to start shopping for DD5 and DD1 for the trip. We will be there 2/23 to 3/5. I found an average temp of 70ish online.

What would you pack for your kiddos (and yourself) for that type of year? A mix of everything?

Oh yeah we are from StL so we see all 4 seasons and will be conning from colder weather in Feb.

We find it quite warm during the day and we can often wear shorts and tank tops and we do go swimming and to the water parks on most days -- but as soon as the sun goes down we want long pants and jackets (might still get away with flip flops though). Fleece is great since its a good windbreaker.

It sounds like your weather is similar to ours, and for me Feb in wdw is like September here.

Thanks for the quick reply! I was wondering if tank tops/sundresses would be something to shop for. Or if I needed to lean more towards capris and dresses with leggings. Luckily DD5 has a couple things from fall that still fit and would work weather wise but I get to go all out shopping for DD1! Hopefully my family will listen to my requests for spring clothing for her birthday presents for the party next weekend.

DH will be fine he would wear shorts and flip flops year round if I let him.

I just need to loose that last 10 lbs of "baby weight" to fit back into all my nice capris;).....yes I still have baby weight!

Not sure if it will make you feel any better but we are going the first week of March and I really haven't started doing any planning either. I think I am going with longer shorts and tshirts for both of my girls. I'm taking 2 sets of long clothes for each of them, a hoodie of some kind and we'll probably have their winter coats along. DD4 will be wearing Crocs all week, I'm not sure what DD2 will agree to in the footwear department. I am avoiding tank tops because even though the temperature may be tank top weather, the girls will be getting a slight breeze and shade hanging out in the stroller and probably not walking enough to get hot in tshirts. For myself, if any of my capris from last summer fit, I'm taking those, if not, jeans (1 or 2 pairs either way). Short sleeved shirts and a hoodie or 2. We're going to be packing as light as possible so in the next week or 2 I'm hoping to start putting together outfits and seeing how much I can fit in the luggage.

We've traveled from Buffalo many times in mid-late February. Some trips we wore shorts, but for the most part the mornings (when most try to get an early start to the parks) can be quite cool so sweatshirts or fleece over your t-shirt are definitely in order. Same thing goes for the evenings as once the sun goes down, it gets quite cool. Also, inexpensive dollar store gloves come in handy while watching the night parades and shows and if you lose them or don't need them they roll up easily into a bag to be used later.

Thanks for the tip about gloves! I will probably take our lighterweight winter coats so there is not as much bulk. We have been the first week of December and it sounds like the weather we had then. I need a little of everything for us all. Good thing we are taking the Magical express because I see a couple checked bags for us. We haven't traveled with both kids yet and my head swims when I think about all the stuff to carry and keep track of!

I might make a run to Old Navy today to see what they have out yet.

We are from Ohio and the temps were great for us last time. We'll also be there the same time as you :thumbsup2

We wear jeans throughout the whole trip - not too hot or cold. We have T-shirts for the day time and just bring a sweatshirt in our backpacks for the early morning/night time coolness.

Anything to us is warmer than Ohio during the same time! :worship:

I live here on the west coast about an 90 miles west of WDW. That time of the year it's starting to warm up nice. You should plan on a jacket or sweatshirt for night time/early am but shorts should be good for you then.
We still wear long pants sometimes cause anything below 70 is cold to us. (today is very cold - under 60 with wind gusts and a low of about 40 tonight).
