Weather in June

I've been tasked with planning a trip fto Disney or my family. My sisters are teachers, which means we are stuck going in the summer. My father has emphysema and really struggles to breathe in high humidity. How is the weather in June? I'm reading 80 to 80. Is that true? Is it really humid then? Thanks.

We have been at the beginning of June, middle of June and end of June. Our June 2006 trip was from the 8th-18th and it was pretty much in the low to mid 90's the entire week and a half and very humid. Our normal June trip time frame is usually towards the end of the month and it has always been in the mid to high 90's.

Thanks for the quick response. Another option is to go later in the summer. How do the various months of the summer compare?

Unless you can wait until September it isn't going to get any cooler. I grew up in south Florida and August always seems hotter and more humid than any other month. With careful planning you can plan your meals and activities so that you can minimize your time outside. Growing up there were fewer places to get out of the heat but Disney has done a better job of creating those spaces. It won't be cool but you can plan around it.

I agree with grace...if you cannot go until September or later it probably won't much matter. We go often the beginning of August for our wedding anniversary as well and it is by far the most humid trips we make during the year. The one good thing is that there are so many rides, attractions and restaurants that you can duck in and out of to get cooled down quickly. I would definitely recommend using FP's as often as possible to avoid standing in long hot lines. With a little planning and scheduling it shouldn't be that bad. Good luck with your decision

I live in Ga. The weather is extremely simlar to Fla. The humidity goes up as does the temp as the summer progresses. Early June is better than late August or even Early to mid September.
