Weather in January?

Is there a good website (or does anyone know) for finding out what the weather is generally like at a given time of year? We're wondering what the weather is like in January.

Also, when do they take down the holiday displays?

Go to this site, and scroll down to January. It has a weather summary, as well as loads of other useful info.

We went twice in mid-late January. There were no holiday decorations at that time. WE LOVED the weather. It was really varied though. We saw snow once, but we always had days warm enough to swim.

Thank you!

We're going early-mid, so I figure we'll either catch the tail end or miss them. We chose January because I have some respiratory issues and summer is just not feasible. I'm hoping for warm but not *too* warm. :)

could be 80, could be 55 or anywhere in between. If you are down there over a week, odds are you will experience both extremes.

You're going to LOVE the weather. It makes touring so much easier than at hotter times of year.

55-80 is a perfectly acceptable range for us! We're Northern Californian. That's a single day in San Francisco sometimes. :)

Could be 85 for a high, could be 45 for a high, could be both in the same week! We have been in December several times, and we learned that you have to pack to be prepared for everything. The weather changes fast, and you can't trust the weather predictions. I'm pretty sure January is about the same. In December, we have spent part of the week in t-shirts and shorts day and night, and another part of the same week in heavy coats and gloves. It is very unpredictable. We do enjoy the fact that it isn't sweltering hot every day!

We've gone twice the very first week of January and each time the days were mid-80s, and the nights were low 70s. It was great! We did pack layers to be safe though. We saw the holiday decorations each time during that first week, and I believe they were up the entire time.

We were also able to swim, even though at night it was a bit chilly to do so. During the days, each time, we wore tank tops and shorts.

We have been down there the past three January's. Pack for 3 seasons, you will need it. Last trip weather couldn't have been better 50's at night - mid 70's day and light rain. The January before that, we needed gloves for a few days of the trip.

Decorations go down after 3/4 and come down the first week pretty quickly. I would say by 8/9 they are all gone.

We have sweated and swam - and we have frozen our fingertips. Once it hit freezing for us halfway through our trip. Kinda a crazy drop. Thank goodness we had come with heavy coats etc from home. It is a crazy month and best advice is to bring layers so you are ready for any day and can peel things off if need be.

We went this January and although we have enjoyed it in the past it was COLD!!! Now for the record, we are from New England (USA) and are used to cold temps, but overnights were in the 40's and days in the low 60's.

It can feel like summer. If can feel like it might snow. And anywhere in between. Unfortunately, all a website will be able to do is demonstrate how whacky January can be.

(I have completed 3 marathon weekends--my first was so blazing hit and humid. The next was frosty cold (high 20s when we headed to EPCOT at 3am). And another was not too hot or cold. )

That's like, my ideal weather!
