Weather in February

I have never been to Orlando in February but am considering a return to Portofino. What temps could I expect? TIA!

February is our coldest month (although today it was 38 this morning and there was thick ice on my car...yes, an hour and a half south of Disney!) This is the coldest December ever since it started so early. Since I see you live in N.J. (me too, a looonnnggggg time ago), you may not think it's cold, but we do! It's certainly not pool weather. At least there's not the humidity like in our hot, hot summers. But, truth is, we DO wear coats in Florida!

The weather in February can fluctuate greatly. A few years ago it was in the 80's every day when we were there (although it did cool down at night.) This past year it was in the 50's and I know it was even colder earlier in the month. You definitely need to check the forecast as it gets close to your trip to really be able to pack properly. And, FWIW, even though it was in the 50's, we enjoyed swimming in POP's heated Hippy Dippy Pool. (Although the Lifeguard had on a winter coat, hat and gloves. )

In Feb.,there is no rime or reason too what the weather will be.

Flip a coin,that's you're best bet.

Lately,it has been frigded.What Feb brings,I don't know.And I live in FLA.

Last February was awful. It was as cold as it is here now.. even a little colder I think! Plus it is wet, Florida cold!! It just gets in your bones... bbbrrrr

As a bonus you won't have crowds because all the locals are not going out in that weather!!

We're going the end of February to March 1. Even if it's "Florida Cold" it won't be anything like "Mountains in Maine" cold!!
