I'm going to Disney world for my honeymoon from Feb 7-14. Can anyone give me ideas on what to expect weather wise (what's the usual dress) and how busy it might be? Thanks in advance! :sunny:

We were there in February this year and the weather was nice. A little cold for swimming (the pool was warm, but walk back to room very cold). We would wear shorts almost every day and start the morning and end the evening with a sweatshirt or jacket. We thouhgt it was perfect for touring the parks.

As far as the crowds, you should be ok that week because I believe the winter vacation in NE and the midwest is the week of the 21st. (presidents day) I am sure you will have a magical honeymoon, and if it is unseasonable cold you will just have to snuggle up and keep each other warm! ;)

Happy wedding planning!!

As to your weather concerns, expect anything. Last year on our last day at the end of February, the temperature didn't even get out of the 50s. We were freezing! Since it was our last day and the weather forecast before we left didn't call for cold, we were unprepared. Yep, sandals and shorts in the 50 degree weather with our bags in bell services at the Boardwalk!

As for the crowds, the week you're going is Mardi Gras week in New Orleans, so be prepared for a lot of people in Purple, Green and Gold. A lot of New Orleanians descend upon the world that week, but it's still very manageable. The upside is that Pleasure Island has some MG celebrations, so you'll get to experience that if you want to.

Good luck with your planning!
