weather in Feb

Hi All,

Was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of temperatures in late Feb. We are going the last week and am hoping to get at least a little swimming in for my DS.

Hi,

Winter weather in Orlando is completely unpredictable. You could have warm days (80s) with cool mornings, or you could have mornings near freezing with afternoons in the 40s or 50s. Or you could have a little of both, or something in between.

My advice is to pack a little of everything (including swimsuits) and if you get a warm day or days, take advantage of them and go swimming!

We went last Feb. and it was cold!!!!!!!!! We were at the Magic Kingdom for my dd's 2nd birthday, Feb. 20 and it was 49!!!! Being from Northwest Ohio it was still much nicer then home! The rest of the week it was 50's early in the day and got up into the 60's. A couple days the high was exactly 70. The kids did go swim on those days. DH and son wore shorts the entire trip w/ a hoodie and us girls wore capri's. We are going again on Feb. 17 and hoping for warmer temps! I want to go out and buy some clothes but I'm trying to hold off until Feb. so I can start watching the weather so I know what to get.

Definitely check out the forecast right before you leave and also pick lots of layered outfits to adjust to the changes. But, to give you a little bit more hope than prior posters, the last two years we have gone at the end of February/first week of March and the weather has been gorgeous -- mid 70's to low 80's every day. My DD (6 months and then 18 months on the next trip) spent a few hours every day in the pool.

We are going the first week of February this year and I am a little more concerned about the weather, but still holidng out hope!

Thanks so much for asking this question! My family will also be heading to WDW during the latter part of February. Here's hoping for some nice weather and plenty of sunshine!
