Weather In December???

WE ARE GOING TO VWL FROM DEC-05 TO DEC-10.GOING WITH DD-8 AND DS2,8MONTHS.WE HAVE NEVER BEEN IN WDW IN DECEMBER.CAN ANYONE ADVISE WHAT THE WEATHER WILL BE LIKE.CAN THE KIDS GO IN THE POOL?SHOULD I PACK WINTER CLOTHES?ANY INFO WOULD BE GREAT...

and the kids did swim one afternoon....the pool is heated at akl...it was great...they wore hoodies not coats to the parks & we put them in the stroller or made them tie them around their waists otherwise.

Dec weather is very unpredictable...2 years ago at the beginning of Dec very very cold and rainy...glad I had a winter coat....last year at Christmas/NewYears....Christmas week coat weather some days...then sweetshirt...New Years week 85 degrees....plan to bring something to stay warm just in case...

We are traveling this year between Dec 3 to Dec 12 and will be taking winter coats just in case...
