Weather in December??

Considering when would be the best time to take a cruise and wondered what the weather would be like in December (week before Christmas). Would hate to go to Castaway and it be too cold to get in water.

we have been to CC three times in mid December and only once was it chilly, December is my favorite time to go, the ship is decorated so beautifully!

We went on the 12-27-03 Eastern. So we were on CC on January 2 of this year. My wife, who is always cold* was comfortable snorkeling for a couple of hours on CC in a light rain.
The beach did seem to clear out, so some others might have though it was cool, the water was about the same temperature as the air.


*How cold IS my wife you ask? She is famous at her work for sitting outside during lunch hour, on a 100 degree day, in long sleeves, drinking coffee, and having a thermos of hot soup for lunch.
