Weather in August?

We are planning our first Disney Cruise! So, I need lots of help.

We are thinking about the 7 night Western Caribbean itinerary for August. I know that it is hurricane season, but what will the weather be like? (Please don't tell me it will be like Disney World in August!)

August in the Caribbean is HOT....it also just as HOT in New York and CT...which place would I rather be......you got it....the Caribbean!!!

But don't forget...there are usually plenty of ocean breezes in Port and on the ship there is always a breeze!!
