Weather in August?

We've gone in early May the last 2 years and this May was quite crowded, considering kids were supposed to still be in school. I was thinking about going in late August, when school starts, but was a little worried about the weather. Does it rain a lot? Is it crowded? I'm also hoping they give free dining again next year to save $ on food costs.

The last time that I went in August the crowds weren't too bad, I don't remember anything over a 30 minute wait. I love the heat so that doesn't bother me, but it does get pretty hot and humid in August. There was also rain every afternoon. Sometimes it was over in less than an hour, sometimes it would rain through the night. All in all, I love going in August!!
