Weather Help

HI all we are going to Disney from Oct 2-9 and the forcast says 30-40% rain each day (extended 10 day forecast). My question is for those who have just returned. Have any of you seen a forecast like this but it didnt rain? I am panicked thinking it will rain every day. Please email me back. We are thinking of rescheduling as I dont want rain every day.

I really appreciate any help you can give.

well when we went this summer it was the same type of thing - usually just and afternoon heavy shower for an hour or so then fine again.. HTH Michelle

Thanks for the response! I feel slightly better now. We had rain on our last trip in NOV 04 and it was just for an hour or so. That I can deal with!

I would like to tell you how it will be but I don't get back home till the 2nd! Just bring a poncho or umbrella and have a blast !!!! michelle

I'm so glad you asked that question. I was about to ask it myself.
Leaving for Disney on the 6th and everyday is scheduled to be hot with 40% chance of rain or thunderstorms. Anyone else have any experiance with this?

Having grown up in Alabama and not far from the Florida border, usually a 40% chance of rain doesn't mean much! I would expect maybe an hour long shower in the afternoon. When we were in the world and it rained, we just ducked into a shop until it subsided, or if we were impatient, threw on the poncho and rode the rides with no waiting! Remember, rain in WDW doesn't stop anything (unless it's a monsoon)! We are leaving in the morning and I'm not blinking over the 40% chance of rain. Have a great time!

We just got back last week and it rained a little every day, but then stopped with either sun or overcast. But we did have fun with our umbrellas in the rain, it kept the crowds down too.
