I checked weather.com for the forecast for next week. For Monday it says rain/thunder. All of the other days it says scattered thunderstorms. I took this to mean the normal afternoon passing storms. What about when it says rain/thunder? Can I expect it to be raining all day? Sorry, probably dumb question but I want to be prepared. Thanks! :sunny:

The weather here has been really crazy. We haven't had the typical afternoon storms at all and barely any rain for months. I would just pack rain gear in case it does but seriously...I doubt it

I hope you are right!!! We are arriving Monday in the afternoon. We plan to go to the parks almost right away so I want to pack the right equipment in my carry on.

I hope it is wrong with only the afternoon showers. We need several days of good rain to get us out of this drought that we are in. There are so many wild fires around the state.

There is some guidance suggesting a tropical-type storm (not a hurricane!) will form this weekend in the Gulf and could give much of Florida heavy rain some time in the early or middle part of next week.

Of course, this could be wrong...the storm may never form, or it may take a different course.

Is there a local website that I could check for the weather forecast? I think weather.com is somewhat vague in their predictions sometimes.

I am really hoping the forcast is wrong...I wouldn't mind maybe some rain in the afternoon...but no all day rain!!

We are leaving tomorrow and DH called me this morning from work a little worried about weather.com's forecast. I told him to check the other weather websites and he was more relaxed with those reports. Although I like the afternoon showers and FL does need them, I really hope weather.com is wrong! Either way we are going to WDW and we are going to have a GREAT time!! Have a safe trip everyone going with us, and have fun.
