Hi everyone,

As most of you will know I am going to WDW in 2 days!!!

I have been looking at weather forcast and the ones I have looked at says 'thunderstorms, cloudy'...thats not good

Do they simply mean the brief thunderstorms that they have everyday?

Does anyone have a good lick to a really good accurate orlando weather forecast?

Fingers crossed for sunshine :beach:

I use Weather.com, which gives you a ten day forecast and highs and lows temps.
I would say its probably the afternoon showers which come in off the sea :-)

Hi,

Does anyone know the difference between isolated and scattered showers???

scattered is usually spread out in different places I believe and isolated just means one or two. However, it is just forecasting, what will be will be so please don't worry about it, you will be in Orlando.

I wouldn't worry, as Florida often has thunderstorms around 3pm each day, the humidity builds up and the clouds build up and it comes down, often you can see a thunder storm near by but it doesn't often come down on you, if you do get one, it will pass quickly.

If the day starts with rain, the parks will have less people in them so as they say, every cloud has a silver lining.

thanks evryone!

I'm being silly I know, i've been in september before so I know what to expect but it just looked so miserable on the forecasts I panicked!!!

thanks again :thumbsup2

Remember it isn't called 'the sunshine state' for nothing.:goodvibes

I wouldn't worry to much about it, last September it said that for nearly everyday we were there and it rained on one day. (our wedding day):confused3

typical!

When we went in 2005 we had our wedding booked for 5:00pm but a few people told us that at that time we were most likely to experince a rain storm so we moved it to 11:00am.

Guess what...

it rained at 11:00am and didn't at 5:00pm....go figure!

After the first few days we had very little rain after that.

You read my mini trippie and one thing I forgot to mention was I read all weather forecasts for the first two weeks of august and we were there for 17 days and the forecast was the same on the weather channel every day, always mentioning isolated or scattered thunderstorms, we had 3 downpours and only one of those lasted for the late afternoon and evening, after they hadnot had rain for 8 days.

The mornings always seems to be lovely with that beautiful blue clear sky and as the day progressed cloud built up but we mainly had amazing weather and alot less humid than I thought. It was hot but with careful planning and lots of water and air con stops it was wonderful.

hope that helps,
any questions let me know

best wishes,
Prue:cheer2:

I think everytime I go, and check the weather it always says, thunderstorms, or scattered showers. It always seems to be the complete opposite when you get out there.
I dont even bother looking now LOL
