So in case you can't catch the local news on the TV in your room at night, how else can one find out the forecast, even the next day's forecast while they are there? We are onsite as usual but I can't recall if any of the channels you see on the TVs in the rooms have relatively frequent weather forecasts or not. Do you get the weather channel? I can't recall.
(I put this in this forum becuase it very MUCH plays to our strategies in touring.)
THANKS!!!!

We watched local news in the morning plus we also found the weather channel.

Hope you have great weather.

There is also a button on your resort telephone that you can press at anytime to get an up-to-date Walt Disney World forecast.I use it a lot when I am there on the speakerphone. :)

The resort channel does have the weather, but my DH kept calling it the "happy weather report". For example, it forecasted scattered showers on a day where it rained quite heavily the entire day. If we missed the local weather reports, we would check out the weather channel.

At POR I called the front desk and asked for the extended forecast. They connected me with a recording. It was accurate.

ditto on the above...one day ( Jan) they were calling for 70s that day and it was never above 40...lots were in the parks in shorts freezing while us " delicate flowers" :rotfl: went back and put on jeans and winter coats

last time i took the resort channel weather seriously :happytv:

Thanks everyone! WHEW!!!! Glad we'll be able to have a way to easily find out. If you check a few sources anyway and if they at least jive, you've got a good shot at them being right. :sunny: HOPING or sun! The reason I even care...rain is rain and it WILL happen... is every single time we have gone to one of the off-site parks and almost every time at MGM, it has rained. So I'm trying to keep 4 days open not knowing which park we'll be at on those days. All depending on the weather. Yes, it will probably backfire and it will rain all 4 days (Murphy's law) but here's to hopin'! THANKS! :thumbsup2
