Anyone else going crazy looking at Accuweather.com??? One day it says the highs will be 77 every day.. lows in the mid-50's... And the next day it says high's 68-70 with lows in the 40's!!!

I know it's hard to pack for this time of year anyway, but COME ON!!! My mind is spinning!! I've given up and decided to take the whole closet!! :p

Oh, I know!!! Yesterday morning when I checked accuweather, it said this week was going to be in the 80's. Today when I look at it, it says it's 70 and thunderstorms.

Also, for the week I'm going it said sunny and in the mid-70s. Today it says rainy.

I'll just pack everything I guess...lol.

I've been tracking the weather too and boy it changes constantly!!! I have not packed anything yet (leaving Sat) because I am waiting until I get a clearer picture of what to take.

I'm leaving Sunday and will check it out on Friday. I never pack til the day I leave. Hoping for some good weather.

I like NOAA.gov for weather. They only go out 7 days but they seem to be accuarate. We will be there Friday and I am packed. We live in the north so anything over 55 - we will be in short. :cool1:

NOAA also is the the best way to track Santa on Christmas Eve.

Where are you in Ohio? We are in Columbus... and leaving Friday!!!

And I can't believe it was snowing Friday and now it's going to be 70 degrees today..!?!
The elements are fighting against me trying to keep the kids and us healthy!!!

I was sooooooooooooooo bumbed out this morning when I checked our dates (8-11) and it said rain two out of four days and rain on our Party day the 8th. Hope it changes but I am sure we will still have a GREAT TIME no matter what.

I'm with all of you - we leave Sunday (4th) and I am wondering what to pack. I'm leaning to just do jeans and t-shirts with a sweatshirt/jacket for when it's cooler.

I live in western PA and we had snow for Thanksgiving and today it's supposed to top out close to 70. Two days from now the high is going to be 31. CRAZY!!!

btw- we were at WDW last year for the second week of December and it was COLD!!!! Unusually cold, but very cold none the less. We ended up buying jackets and sweatshirts (at Disney prices :guilty: ) Anyway, I think I can easily deal with jeans and a t-shirt. Besides if the high is 77, most of the time it's less than that. With jeans, we may be a bit warm for an hour or two, but that's about it.

Ok, so in "typing" to you guys, I have convinced myself to pack only jeans. Thanks :)

Orland local weather said on the online forecast...

Fri 72, 48
Sat 75, 48

and thats it so far.

We will be at WDW this Thursday and I have yet to pack a thing. I too saw the report last week that called for mid 70s for the first week of December. I then got out a bunch of summer clothes. Last night I look again and it is going to be high 60s all week or lower!! Now I have to rethink my packing plans. We are only going for 7 days so it isn't like I can't pack for all kinds of weather. This just stresses me out! LOL!

They can't even predict the weather for tomorrow accurately. I'm not putting too much creedence into what they "predict"

We are leaving on Sunday too!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I'm planning on 70's for the days and 50's at night. Jeans and t-shirts, then sweatshirts for evenings. Hopefully we don't get too much rain.

We're leaving Sunday too! :cool1: Usually, I have all of the clothes packed by now, but I'm kind of glad I don't have any packed yet. Here's hoping for 80's and :sunny: !

Another jeans and tshirts during the day here, but for night, I actually think we are bringing heavier coats- MVMCP 2003 we froze our patooties off, especially with the wind!

We're near Cincinnati and leaving Friday too! :Pinkbounc

I was really stressing about the weather. Then this morning, DS and I got out the album of pictures from our last trip- February 2002. We wore shorts most of the time and the rest of the time we were in jeans and sweatshirts. It can't be THAT bad in December. I mean, we're from Ohio... we're used to WAY worse! :cold:

Well, I've talked to family & friends that live in Florida & they said the weather is BEAUTIFUL right now. Highs in the 80s and lows in the mid-high 60s. My one friend just moved to Florida 2 years ago & knows NJ weather. She said we will be fine in sweatshirts or fleece jackets at night & in the early am - and shorts should be fine.

Here's hoping!!!

I will be happy no matter what!! (well, as long as it doesn't rain as much as it did last October ;))

We're headed out this Saturday and still aren't sure what to pack. DD5 helped me decide on whether or not she could wear shorts as she just recently had a growth spurt and moved up in pants size. We pulled summer clothes out this past weekend and I couldn't find any shorts that fit her! So now it's pants and t-shirts for her regardless of how warm it will be. I can't believe how quickly children can grow!!!

I'm wearing my lined winter coat and hoping I don't need it once I get there. It's my insurance. Unless it's over 80 I'm fine in jeans and a short sleeve shirt with a sweater tied at my waist.
I think it's futile to look at the forecast. They don't even have today right. :confused3

Well, I figure that we are safe with short sleeved shirts and long pants, like jeans. I am packing long sleeved turtle necks so that, if it's cold, or will be before we get back, we'll have them to put underneath our t-shirts. Jackets will be in the car or a locker, if we really need more than the turtlenecks. Panchos will be with us, just in case.
