Weather! For Christmas and New Year!

Thermals are your answer! I intend to pack a thermal vest and pair of leggings for each day. We did this last year and with long sleeved tops, jumpers and coats we were quite warm. Make sure you also have good waterproof shoes (I am taking my snow boots as they are warm too). We had a great time last year and the weather hasn't stopped us wanting to go back at the same time this year.

It's very windy and drizzling this morning after having rained loads yesterday evening.

Temperature wise you are looking at 6° today (feel like -1°) but tomorrow we are going to drop hugely down to -temperatures with feel like ones in - double figures.

They forecast -4° (feels like -11°) tomorrow morning then 0° (feels like -6°) in the afternoon and -3° (feels like -8°) tomorrow evening. Good thing is it will be dry.

Thanks Carrie we are travelling now all packed with lots of thermals and lots of layers! I'll be in the park this time tomorrow! We had snow last night so at least you've avoided that!

I was just there on 12/25 at dlp. Still in Paris as I type. Cold. Very very cold. Bring hats gloves ear muffs etc. Wool socks. Rains every day but usually briefly. We packed warm coats that were water proof and they have worked great. It was cold and rainy last night. I also did not think we would need those hot packs for gloves and now I wish I had them.

Thanks I'm in Calais tonight heading to dlp first thing in the morning - it's snowing here! Glad I packed the kids snowsuits!
