We are going down to DLR Jan 29-Feb 1. What is the weather usually like end of January? I have looked on various websites but I just get highs and lows.. not very informative.

We already booked our trip, so we are going no matter what, but I really hope its not too rainy! I am from Seattle and get enough of that. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!!

try looking on some weather websites they should be able to tell you i hope your trip turns out good have fun!:yay:

We have gone at the end of January the last two years and will be going this year as well. We are from WA state so keep that in mind. :goodvibes
We have had usually one day of sprinkles and the weather is typically 60-70 degrees for a high. We have swam in the DLH pool on both trips.

We were there earlier this year at the end of January, and we're also from the Seattle area. It rained a fair amount - poured, even. For the most part we wore jeans, sweatshirts, and jackets, and we were fine. I brought gloves and hats, but we didn't need them. I made sure we brought extra shoes so we could swap them out if they got wet. Don't let the weather freak you out - if you're prepared for the elements, you'll be just fine and have a great time.

We are going two weeks later and I am thinking about the same thing. I am going to get some disposable rain pants and bring some water resistant shoes in addition to rain coats and/or ponchos.

We have been before in the rain but we got pretty wet and miserable. We were there in Dec. last year and needed hats and gloves that we ended up buying. We are bringing everything this year!

Forgot to add: We went 3 years ago at the end of November and ended up buying shorts because we did not expect the warm weather that we got.

We are visiting from Australia in January. Where would I buy disposable rain pants and roughly how much should I expect to pay? Thanks

My DH and I will be there Feb 3-7 and we are hoping for warmer weather that what we will have at home. Even rain would be better than whatever is going on in Alberta in February lol. We are facing -40 temps with the windchill this weekend. When we were there that time 2 years ago we had beautiful weather so hoping for it again.

ive been during the first few days of Feb this year and last year...this year it was HOT during the day...I got sunburn...and Im from Cali so if we say its hot then its hot....during the night I was freezing...last year it was cold...theres no way to know...our weather is wacked...I recommend accuweather.com...put in area code 92802...start looking 10 days out and go from there..:confused3

We went mid Feb. of last year. The weather was a bit colder than usual so we usually wore jeans and sweatshirts. On a few days we wore t-shirts but the weather was also cloudy with a bit of rain on most days. I froze in the evenings with jeans and a coat so I am bringing a light pair of long underwear to wear under my jeans this year. My parents were in the area the week before and after our week and the weather was warm t-shirt weather. I'm guessing it's hit or miss. Check the weather the week before your trip as it can fluctuate a bit if you look 2 to 3 weeks earlier.
