In true Disboard fashion we haven't even had our June trip yet and I'm thinking about another trip :lmao:

I've always wanted to do the Christmas season with the girls but it is difficult due to school. Anyway we have a 'window' for a long weekend v end of Nov/beg Dec and are weighing it all up :goodvibes

So, question is what can I expect the weather to be like (I know, who knows, but it's worth an ask :rolleyes1)....? Will we need thermals/ski suits etc? Or is the weather similar to UK then?

Secondly, DH and I will be celebrating a special Wedding Anniversary that weekend :lovestruc so plan to have a nice 'adult', evening meal - which we haven't yet done at DLRP (parents will be coming so have offered to babysit :thumbsup2). Where would you recommend? I'd love to try Walts, Blue Lagoon & possibly California Grill but not sure of the times the parks will be open so not sure whether park restaurants (first 2) will be open to us. Anyone any great suggestions? I think some of the other hotels have really nice restaurants too?

Thanks in advance for any help :thumbsup2

Not as cold as last weekend I hope - because we *might* be planning one too!

Is it your 10th wedding anniversary? I was thinking about it the other day, D and I have been together 9 years now (on Rose's birthday) and I wasn't with him at your wedding (because I almost agreed to a date with the ginger barman - who was in my class at school! What is it with me and gingas?)

Last year it was "warm", 2 years ago it snowed end of November so this year who knows...sorry I know that's not much help :lmao::goodvibes

Rosebug - Have lost count of the years DH and I have been together :lmao:

Carrie - thanks for that, as I was typing it I did think - this is silly, look at the in 2010 - snow mid November and lots of it! November 2011, relatively warm. I guess you can't tell until much nearer the time, would just be useful to know if we are going to need thermals etc as often if you leave buying them until cold weather snaps, there are none left :scared1:.

Hmmm just looked at California Grill reviews and the menu doesn't appeal that much if I'm honest - fine dining but just not sure. How about Manhattan or Cape Cod - will check reviews but they all need updating so much

Don't forget that the menus change twice a year and that those ones are very very out of date

There will be new ones out April/May time.

Remind me then and I'll try and get pictures of them. I do for the park restaurants but never think about going into the hotels. I guess it's because I have no need to :goodvibes

Yes probably Rosebug - I feel old! :scared1:

Carrie - that is very kind, thank you - I am going myself in June so could have a look then if they will last until November time :goodvibes

Well.... we are definitely going for Christmas cheer :cool1::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

The flights are booked - it's official :cheer2::dance3:.

Just need to sort out hotel but me thinks I need to sort out June's hotel first :rotfl2:.... Where are those flash sales when you need one? :lmao:
