hi guys

This is going to seem a really daft thread but here goes....

How cold will it be in December?? I have 2 toddlers who will be 4 & 3. I'm planning to buy them ski jackets and my husband suggested the ski bottms. :confused3

I'm a person who feels the cold and I don't want the weather to spoil being outside all day. :guilty:

Am I going over the top??

Cheers

Hi

You are not going over the top at all....it's better to be prepared for the cold. We were there last December (16th) and it was freezing...we wore that many layers that we looked like michelin men! Ski pants are definitely a good idea for the little ones. You will also need hats, gloves, thermal underwear etc...as you will be outsidefor extended periods watching parades etc. The hot chocolate is a great way to warm you up, and the cold weather really helps to make the Christmas atmosphere a bit more authentic! Your little ones will love it!!

We went late January and it was cold and it snowed. We're going in October but the kids will still have a warm winter coat and hats and gloves. Knowing our luck it will rain the whole time.

no you are not going over the top at all, we went last December and it was freezing, I would take lots of warm clothes, coats, boots and some thick socks from camping shops like blacks. The ski bottoms seem like a good idea.

thanks guys - i knew I could rely on you :)

I've seen some little fur line water proof boots for the girls so i'll add these to list now :rotfl:

Thanks
Janet
