Do you thing the sudden "chilly" weather will effect crowd levels today? Spoke to some locals today who acted like 60 degrees was freezing.

Usually they will be less crowded believe it or not Fridays are usually quieter than most days because of people leaving and new ones just arriving in FL. Is this your first trip to Disney?

Not my first trip to Disney but first time to islands of adventure. My kids love Harry potter. Looking forward to low crowds. We will layer our clothes and have a great day.......we may skip the water rides though.

Leave early I would say be their by 8 so you can get on the good stuff right away!!! I love that park!! The water rides are ok, but if you get sick easy stay away from the motion rides!!! Spider-Man, jimmy neutron, shriek etc my first time I went on jimmy neutron as soon as we got their I was sick for the entire day... And my kids!

I don't think the weather will affect vacationers who have already purchased tickets and made plans to go today. When you're on vacation, you pretty much have to deal with the weather and forge ahead.

Those of us who live in Florida have thin blood so we're going to think 60 degrees is colder than you.

i usually find that Sundays are like that.
so many people travel for the week and Sundays are their arrival/departure days.

but i am referring to Universal and not Disney as you posted above.

I heard that last night, crowds dropped because people weren't prepared for the sudden drop in temperature.

I worked today and it seemed fairly busy. People seemed to dress for the weather and most people stuck around until we closed.

I thought I would close the loop on this thread.....We did go to the parks yesterday and I found it to be fairly crowded. Here were our wait times (no express pass)

HP Forbidden Journey - 50 Minutes
Flight of the Hippogriff - 40 Minutes
The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train - 20 Minutes
Men in Black - 20 Minutes
Woody Woodpecker Coaster - 20 Minutes
The Simpsons Ride - 40 Minutes
Shrek - 10 Minutes
Despicable Me - 45 Minutes

I have 2 days left on my Costco 3-day ticket and probably won't go back without getting express pass or getting a hotel onsite for the night!
