Weather/Crowds First Week of May

Any tips/tricks or previous experiences for the first week of May regarding crowds/weather would be appreciated. Thanks!

the 5th of May is the new celebration -so I would say busy....

weather should be great - maybe some afternoon showers - but otherwise pretty wonderful!!!

I was there last year the first week of May and crowds were not bad. This year may be different with the start of the new celebration. Some parks maybe closing early for press events.

The weather was mid 80's and a little rain. Other times we went that time of year it was low 90's but not as humid as summer, so little rain.
