Hello- I'm sure this has been asked many times but.... We are going week of October 25-Nov 1st- is swimming likely? I assumed it was and reading a few things on here I'm getting nervous. Any Disney vets have any thoughts? I'll need to mentally prepare my daughter if it isn't likely! Thanks!

It depends on what you find to be swimmable weather.
It's warmish. I would swim then at the peak of the day :cool2: However it can be quite brisk

Ok! We are from Michigan- so mid 70s and up will work for us! So fingers are crossed. Cooler nights sound wonderful though.

We were at WDW over Halloween last year. Highs were in the upper 70s to low 80s for most of the week. We swam a few days. You'll be fine.

You should be able to swim. There might be a cold snap that blows through, bit they are usually brief.

You took the words right out of my mouth. OP, we've been traveling to WDW during your dates for the last 8 years and it's usually in the high 70's to mid 80's, but we've also had days where we wore jeans and sweaters into the parks because of how chilly it was.

Thanks for all the responses! I am hoping for a few swim days but cooler weather on a few days doesn't sound too bad either! ;) thanks so much and I feel even more excited now knowing we didn't choose poorly for this trip! And even if it does end up being too cold- it's still Disney! Yay!

I think swimming then would probably be totally doable. The days are still toasty and the nights are just beginning to chill.

You can definitely swim at that time. Weather will be in the 70's to low 80's during the day. It does tend to cool off in the evenings, but it usually has no effect on the kids as the pools are heated.

It is possible to have larger swings in the temps as well so be prepared. We have been the first week of December twice. Once year we had record lows in the 30's at night. The other we had record highs in the high 80's. Go figure. Other than the few days where records were, it was the pretty standard 70's by day and 60's by night.

Have fun.

Last year it was HOT in Orlando on Halloween. I'm from the South and no stranger to heat, but it was surprising for late October. This year seems to be cooler all across the country so it might not be so bad. Probably easily still swimmable. You can really swim at WDW all year as the water is heated.
