hi everyone - we are going in 6 weeks - just starting to plan what we need to pack - we were there same time last year and had rain and storms - im wondering what the weather is like at the minute and what it maybe like in about 6-8 weeks - i know its hard to predict! also any tips for what to pack! please advise:dance3:

I live in the WDW area. The weather today is hot 94 degrees, but the weather is always hot in August. In six to eight weeks it will still be very warm. We usually have 90+ degree days from June 1-September 30. Sometimes its cooler. In September you can expect the typical day to be about 70 in the morning and going up to 85-90 in the afternoon. You will probably have a thunderstorm between 3 and 5 PM at least two days out of a week.

Of course, September is still hurricane season. If a tropical storm comes you will get alot of rain. My personal experience is that most of the tropical storms and hurricanes occur during the month of August.

For what its worth, I think the best months of the year here are April and October.

Pat's right. Think hot and humid -- by our Floridian standards! To you, that will be boiling.

Figure low to mid-90's in the daytime and probably low to mid-80's at night. You will have some torrential downpours during thunderstorms (We waded through knee-deep water into Le Cellier one July), but they only last an hour at most. After that, it's just steamy.

One weather condition you will not have is cold. (Which by our standards, is anything below 70.)
