I've planned this vaca for months, counted down and like rain on a wedding day, it's not looking good. The usual 20% I get, but it's looking like Sunday 60% rain, Weds and Thurs rain!! Weds I planned a exotic car driving for my husband too. I called Disney today and their rep on the phone was just not nice about it all. He made me feel worse. I'm really saying some prayers the week won't be a wash, this was our Thanksgiving away from drama and work stress....

It's really too soon to tell what the weather will be like for next week! Don't stress. I do not pay any attention to the forecast until 2-3 days ahead of time. We are heading to Tampa Friday to catch a cruise and then will be at Disney Thanksgiving Day for a few days. I'm packing for several scenarios, from warm during the day to cold at night. We found out the hard way last NYE week that we should always be prepared for cold there! I'm packing my gloves, hoodies, and hats, just to be safe. Don't stress1 You'll be at Disney, and no matter what the weather, it will be fun and stress free! Have a great trip and a Happy Thanksgiving! :)

It is still early so don't worry just yet. We are here now and before our trip it showed rain for about 3 days (50-60% on some of those days). So far we have only had rain one day (yesterday). The rest of the week looks rain free as well. So don't worry with weather until a couple days before. It changes a lot. Enjoy your trip!!

Unless there was a hurricane forecasted, I wouldn't even give it two thoughts.

There was a 90% chance of rain everyday of our 11 day trip in August. It rained ONCE, and for only about 3 hours. And it was so darn hot, we were hoping it would rain to cool it off a bit. :headache:

It has been that way for all of our trips. Don't stalk the weather, it doesn't matter. You will be fine. :goodvibes

We are heading there next week. I've checked the forecast and it literally changes daily. No worries here! Just packing for all scenarios!

Have a safe trip! :)

and Happy Thanksgiving to you too!

We will be there next week as well. I haven't even looked at the weather yet. I will check Friday to see what to wear down on the plane Saturday, but that's about it. It changes by the hour. I bring a little bit of everything and dress for that days forecast.

You never know here in florida...today was "supposed" to be 62 and sunny, well...the sun never came out it was spitting rain and very windy...never got above 48 here in Celebration.
I would plan on 40's-70's. Layers are your friend:)

I think a stress reducer is preplanning for rain. I hated the ponchos. By preplanning I found a great jacket hip length, mesh lining as not to sweat, hooded and water heavily resistant from Cabella's. I pulled out the crocks and extra pair of shoes for mucking through rain.

Have things in zip locks in the back pack, a microfiber towel to wipe seats, one for people. I kept a change of socks, T-shirt, even roll up a pair of shorts to have a dry change out.

The crowd disappear during rain events. If you are prepared, not to just stand in a doorway or under an overhang, you can keep going attraction to attraction.
In each park plan where you are to the rain for longer attractions.
Epcot- the land and seas, innovations, the space ship Earth.
Magic Kingdom- carousel of Progress, people mover, Mickeys Philharmonic, monsters laugh floor.Belles story time.
HS- the Great Movie ride, Indiana Jones, muppet vision! little mermaid while the heaviest rain passes.
I keep AK for a predicted low chance of rain day.

If you are reasonably dry to continue, the rides can be easy to manage.

Layers the lows are going to be in the 40's so be sure to bring a coat with those stretchy gloves in the pocket. Patience for the Thanksgiving crowds oh and a poncho and an extra pair of shoes in case one pair gets soaked.

During our June trip it rained evey single day (12 days) we didn't let it stop us. Fantasmic got cancelled and other things were delayed. We just threw on the ponchos and away we went. Rain doesn't have to ruin your trip. Some of our best memories include watching the kids playing in the puddles.

We were at MK for less than 30 minutes when the skies opened up. We had ponchos, but they didn't help our socks and shoes. It was just miserable!

There were 6 inches of rain in less that a 24-hour period. We never got to ride 7 Dwarfs because they kept shutting down because of the weather.
