I know not to wear new sneakers and shoes to the parks. What about crocs? I got each of my kids a pair as a tink gift.

If they fit, you should be okay. My DS 9 wore a pair that were just a little small, and they gave him a blister within an hour. Luckily, we were not at Disney!

My kids have never gotten a blister from crocs, so I think you would be fine. They have so many pair that none of them were really broken in when we went. They did ride in the stroller quite a bit though.

I bought Disney Crocs (the Mary Janes) for myself while there, and wore them right away - no blisters. I think the key is knowing how they fit and making sure they are not too small.

Me and my kids all wore new crocs last summer - I had planned on maybe just the first day, but they were so great we all wore them them whole week with no problem. Now, last week dd wore a pair of her Mary Jane's that she has not worn in a while - obviously, they are too small, because she did develop a blister on the side - so, like pp mentioned, just make sure they fit.

I would test them out ahead of time, expecially if they have never had them before. I have two pairs myself, but I can't wear them for very long. My feet normally don't sweat in any other shoe, but for whatever reason they do in Crocs and then I get blisters from them. I know I couldn't wear them all day walking either. If you want to bring them and have them wear them to the pool or around the hotel that would be fine, but I would definatly bring other footwear for them to wear in the parks.

Have them wear them on the plane and around the resort the first night, that should help. :thumbsup2

I bought my DDs each a pair at DHS on our 1st day and they wore them out of the shop and for the rest of the week with no problems. I cannot wear crocs for very long because I get blisters, can't figure out why, my feet never sweet in anything but crocs!

. . .my feet never sweet in anything but crocs!

Try spray antiperspirant on your feet in the morning to stop the sweating. I sounds weird, but works great!

Also, we've been worn crocs to Disney our last couple of trips. No one in the family has ever had a blister. The best walking version is the original clog though. They may be the ugliest, but they are still the most comfortable - roomy and cushy.

Note, my advice about the lack of blisters only applies to real crocs. The off brands are sometimes made of much harder plastic and will definitely blister.

I wore my crocs all day at WDW and they were fine, no blisters. Great for the water rides too!

We all wear Crocs at my house. I had bought each of us a new pair for Disney (except for DS17, absolutely refuses to wear them). The first two days each of us had a slight rubbed area on the inside of our feet where the strap attached, but not on the outside where it attaches. I had brought fabric bandaids and we all wore one the next day over that area. It cleared up and we were fine after that.
