Couple of questions:

1. Do you bring a change of clothes (were going in two weeks) I dont think the weather will be an issue, but I can see it not being comfortable
DD is wearing an ALice (In wonderland) dress my MIL made her to Norway in Epcot for pricess lunch. - If I bring clothes to change into do I have to lug her costume around all day.

2. DD is doing the BBB at the Castle just before the Pirates/Princess starts- I have a nice Mini Costume I was going to have her wear and maybe buy a crown to wear with it instead of the ears... Its not techincally a princess costume.....

My DD wears a lot of princess dresses. On the rare occasions that she wants to take it off I put it in a ziplock and store it in the backback.

I was wondering the same thing. My dd is 2 and might not want to wear the dress the whole day... so should I bring a change of clothes for after??

I would probably bring a change of clothes, just in case (esp. for the 2 year old). But then, my dd only wore a costume one night for dinner and then fireworks, so I didn't bother bringing extra clothes since it was for a short time, and it is a dress she finds very comfortable, so it worked out fine. I did bring a jacket, but she refused to put it on - she's my little furnace!

DD loves to wear her costumes, but like most kids it was a guess at to how long she would wear it. We always take clothes, either in the backpack or we rent a locker. Some days its off with the costume right after lunch, others she kept it on till we got back to the room. She is 7 and I still have no idea why it was on some times and off the others.

I have not yet dressed my daughter (now 3) in princess dresses at Disney. We have gone to CRT and Storybook Princess Dining in Norway (sorry, can't remember what the restaurant is called). She notices that some littles girls have their princess dress on. But she doesn't seem to care if she's not wearing it. I find that it's too hot to wear. But she usually does wear a light sundress that's really cute so the photos with the princesses still looks nice.

But if she did want to wear it, I would definitely have her just change her clothes when we get to the restaurant. I just feel so sorry for those little girls who are wearing them around the park when it's sooooo hot.

Last time we went when DD was 5, I surprised her by packing her Sleeping Beauty costume in my backpack and then pulling it out right before our princess lunch. She wore it for maybe an hour after lunch and then wanted to put her shorts back on.

thanks for the advice.. I was gonna bring a change of clothes in case it was hot... i appreciate all the help:wizard:
